South Korea's president accompanied by a dignified board in order to extend business trading and association and investing in different economic sections traveled to Iran and according to news an eighteen billion dollar agreement has been signed with Iran.
South Korea has been known as a poor country because of the lack of mineral resources. Until the 80's they've been receiving development supports from different countries. Comparing to Iran in the 1980, Koreans, had a gross domestic production equal with half of Iran's, but today they have reached a gross domestic production of about 6 times more and the per capita income of 5 times more than Iran's. In 2008 the per capita income increased to twenty one thousand dollars and exports increased to four hundred twenty billion dollars which exceeded the anticipations. In 2015 these numbers passed six hundred billion dollars. Today, Korea is one of the world's top ten economies and Korean companies in the fields of steel, Petrochemical, Non-ferrous metals, ship making, electronics and automobiles are considered among the world's giants. We are witnessing these progresses considering this country does not have enormous oil incomes like Iran.
